Maxim Liksutov will take part in URBAN TRANSPORT 2017
Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor in the Moscow Government and Head of the Department for Transport and Road Infrastructure Development, has confirmed his participation in the URBAN TRANSPORT International Innovations Fair. The Fair will be held on November 22-24 at VDNKh, Pavilion 75, with the support and participation of the Moscow City Government, State Unitary Enterprise “Mosgortrans” and State Unitary Enterprise “Moscow Metro”.
Moscow Department of Transport shapes the policy for the road and transport infrastructure development, managing state property in the transport sector and ensuring the safety of transport infrastructure facilities and vehicles. So far, it is one of the most efficient and professional divisions of the Moscow Government. For example, in 2017 Moscow received the international transport award Global Public Transport Awards 2017 for achievements in the urban transport and transport infrastructure development, while Maxim Liksutov, Head of the Department, won the Tom Tom prize for the research in the field of road traffic and parking space development in Moscow.
The support of the Department for Transport and Road Infrastructure Development and personal participation of Maxim Liksutov in the URBAN TRANSPORT International Innovations Fair proves its high representative level. The Fair is the largest event in the field of urban public transport in Russia and the CIS countries. More than 700 delegates from 30 countries are invited to participate in it. Within the business agenda, they will discuss all current trends of the industry and key factors for the development of public transport: engineering, infrastructure and passenger services. The Fair will present the latest innovative solutions in the field of maintenance and operation of transport.
Among URBAN TRANSPORT delegates are heads of transport operators and transport equipment manufacturers, special equipment and component suppliers, software and control system developers, representatives of federal and regional authorities, international experts and researchers. A meeting of the entire professional community at the same venue will contribute to well-informed and far-seeing decision-making in urban transport systems development.
