Show URBAN TRANSPORT Fair is dedicated to transport innovations
URBAN TRANSPORT is a global event in the world of public transport in Russia and CIS countries that annually brings together officials from industry-related agencies, executives of domestic and international companies and industrial enterprises, operators, and contractors – everyone who sets the development vector in urban and commercial transport sector.
The show will present innovative solutions and achievements in the field of transport maintenance and operation, creative infrastructure and technical developments aimed at the urban passenger transportation improvement. Special attention will be given to the latest transport technology samples and vintage exhibits (buses, trolleybuses, trams, suburban rail and light rail rolling stock). For example, PC Transport Systems LLC will present at its stand the modular cab of a tramcar (100% ready-made module of the driver's cab or the rear platform of a tramcar) and a special diagnostic workshop.
The stand of CARiOT company will present an innovative turnkey car-sharing solution. The social function of the service is to unclog the roads, improve the environmental conditions by prompting the drivers to give up private vehicles. The solution was developed on the basis of Skolkovo Innovation Center.
NovaCard 's stand will present an innovative mobile application “Citycard”, compatible with several virtual transport cards on an NFC SIM-card and allowing the passengers to pay the fare via a mobile phone. The visitors will also be demonstrated contactless payment options through transport terminals with bank cards of the national paying system Mir, Visa and MasterCard, and a mobile app-based system of remote transport card replenishment.
The business agenda of URBAN TRANSPORT will be focused on innovations in public transport, search for new approaches to the transport issues in agglomerations solutions, and analysis and discussion of the main urban policy trends. The current situation in the field of urban transport will be analyzed in three segments: engineering, infrastructure and passenger services. Heads of transport operators and transport equipment manufacturers, special equipment and components suppliers, software and management system developers, representatives of federal and regional authorities, international experts and researchers will take part in discussions.
